International Wrestling

Louis Lawrence brought International wrestling to Ontario in 1987 and I had the opportunity to catch a couple of their cards. It was a thrill to see Abdullah the Butcher live and in "colour" as he battled through out the arena with Gino Brito. I had seen most of the wrestlers on TV or read about them in Apter mags but nothing could compare to being up close to Sadistic Steve Strong, Kendo Nagasaki and Abby.
